Important: Classes for beginners are listed as Health Seeker Classes (1), classes listed with Fitness Classes (2-3) (currently exercising at least 3 days per week with no physical limitations) are for moderate to advanced exercisers. Read the description to find the class(es) that best suits your ability. Classes listed as Mind & Body Classes are good for anyone who is stressed and wants to learn to R-E-L-A-X! All Healthy Living programs are taught by certified, experienced instructors. Our goal is to help you reach your goal! Select from the Filter Section on the left under Healthy Living, either Health Seeker Classes (1) or Fitness Classes (2-3).
This 60-minute class focuses on core stability and progression in strength training. All muscle groups are worked in each class. A variety of equipment is used and varies each week to continually challenge your body. Format is based on the latest science to effectively build strength and conditioning. Instructor is a certified Personal Trainer.
Advanced class in Pool 1. If you love boot camp on land, try it in the WATER! This class uses various water resistance tools to shape & tone muscles while giving you a great cardio workout! Get stronger without impacting your joints.
This class is designed to help improve your overall fitness and get your heart rate pumping while reducing stress on your joints!
Physical Education class in the pool! Using all components of the water to strengthen muscular development and cardiovascular system. Pool equipment will be used and water belts will be available for everyone. No class will be the same!
Take your fitness to the MaXX with this high intensity workout! Body weight exercises, plyometrics and high intensity intervals to build power, speed, agility, endurance & core strength. Free to members - no registration.

Varying time lengths of body weight cardio combined with strength training for a high intensity total body workout. Keep your hear rate high and build strength for improved stamina!

Come experience water fitness in the deep end of the pool. Water belts are available. A great full body workout including cardio and toning segments done in the deep end of Pool 1.
A blend of exercise styles… H.I.I.T, Tabata, a touch of PiYo while incorporating a plethora of “toys”. Class changes each week. Fun, Effective, Different and Challenging!
This class will utilize any/all available building space such as stairwells, gymnasium, etc. We will stay on the YMCA grounds so Play Place is still an option for your children!
Involves strengthening of all major muscle groups.
Combining weights, core & cardio, these intervals will consist of 8 rounds of high intensity exercises in a specific 20-seconds ON, 10-seconds OFF interval. These four minute Tabata circuits are sure to get your heart rate up and push you to the limits!
