Important: Classes for beginners are listed as Health Seeker Classes (1), classes listed with Fitness Classes (2-3) (currently exercising at least 3 days per week with no physical limitations) are for moderate to advanced exercisers. Read the description to find the class(es) that best suits your ability. Classes listed as Mind & Body Classes are good for anyone who is stressed and wants to learn to R-E-L-A-X! All Healthy Living programs are taught by certified, experienced instructors. Our goal is to help you reach your goal! Select from the Filter Section on the left under Healthy Living, either Health Seeker Classes (1) or Fitness Classes (2-3).
Yoga reduces stress, enhances breathing, relaxes and tones muscles through a mindful method of mental and physical well-being training.
This is an introductory class focusing on the fundamentals of yoga. If you are a beginner or just interested in a slower-paced class, this is for you. There are no pre-requisites, you don’t need to touch your toes! Classes will contain yoga poses both seated and standing (using the chair if needed as support), along with modifications of the poses to suit participants’ individual needs.
This class is a blend of Yoga styles. All participants must possess self-sustained balance and must be comfortable in transitioning from standing position to the floor without support. A basic functional assessment test may be required to attend this class. Great for the beginner.

Friday: 11:00-11:45am (held in the Group Exercise Studio)
Class will include traditional sun salutation, warrior, balance & flexibility poses. Mini ball included for strength conditioning.
Same as Yoga, just 30 minutes. Yoga reduces stress, enhances breathing, relaxes and tones muscles through a mindful method of mental and physical well-being training.
This class will help parents AND children learn how to remain calm and manage their emotions while having FUN!

The movement is aligned & linked with the breath so that you move with each inhale & exhale. POWER class will incorporate more core strength training.
Pre-requisite: must have taken Tai Chi Advanced Level 2 class as movements are learned in progression.
Pre-requisite: must have taken Tai Chi for Beginners class as movements are learned in progression.

Tai Chi involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner, accompanied by deep breathing. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion.
