Accreditation is a guarantee that our childcare program is committed to constantly improving and striving to provide the best care possible. All of the Butler YMCA Child Care sites are licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare and meet the state’s standards for staffing, health and safety practices, nutrition, enrollment, ratios, and record keeping. Regular inspections assure that our center complies with all state regulations; however, we strive to go above and beyond these requirements to provide excellent service and safety for each child in our care!
Keystone STARS is a rating system that promotes quality improvement in early learning and development programs and school-age child care. A Keystone STARS designation informs parents that their children are in a safe, respectful environment in which they are learning new things every day to support their current and future success in school and in life.
