Using CDC recommendations, we will be conducting health screenings upon entrance, increasing our cleaning of high touch areas, requiring masks for YMCA staff, as well as providing many opportunities to promote social distancing.

Face covering while visiting our facilities:

  • All visitors must wear a face covering upon entering and exiting the building, and it should remain on as you move throughout our facilities.
  • You are not required to wear a face covering while exercising or swimming, as this may impose health risks.
  • All YMCA Staff will continue to wear face coverings. Temperatures will continue to be taken prior to Staff and Members entering our facilities.
  • Please continue to practice social distancing throughout all areas of the facility.

Our YMCA Staff will be wearing masks unless instructing or lifeguarding, they will also receive a health screening upon entering the building.

The YMCA uses a commercial cleaning company that deep cleans the facility daily using all CDC recommended products.  We also have dedicated cleaning staff who will be sanitizing and cleaning during operating hours. We have increased our daily wiping of all high touch areas in the facility.

We will be asking members to wipe the machine before and after use.  We will also be doing regular cleaning of high touch areas as well as deep cleaning. We have also moved equipment to provide more physical distancing.

Non-members will not be permitted to use our facility at this time.
